To forgive,
Or to forget,
To only give,
Or not to take.
Giving up,
Or giving in,
Selfishness or,
Self centeredness?
Egoism perhaps,
Pride or just vain,
With age catching up,
I'd thought you'd give way.
Life is such,
Truth will hurt,
To only splurge,
And not say a word.
In life,
You gotta lose some,
To gain lots more,
This is just how life is...
